D&D dice box

A local game store has D&D adventure league on Saturday nights and my son wanted to start playing. I haven’t played in over 35 years, I know, what a crime!!

Very different than what I remember, but I’m hooked yet again…had a great time and just HAD to make myself a dice box…lol

Saw a few on etsy and also saw this one for inspiration.

Dungeons and Dragons Dice Box

I made this dice box last night on my GF as a small addition to my son’s gift for his 16th birthday today. I had designed the box based on similar items on the web. Originally I designed and 3D printed a while back. I planned to do this as a combo project with my ShaperOrigin and the GF, but I didn’t have enough time to complete it last night. Are you intentionally trygin to make my OCD act up that you don’t have separate slots for the different dice? Or that it’s not full of D20?
It sure looks like a nice case though.

As promised, here’s the other design. Made this one to hold my son’s miniature as well. Used floor mat foam from Harbor Frieght on the insides. Outside is walnut ply from Johnson plastics and blue acrylic from estreetplastics. Wood was completely press fit…with a rubber mallet…lol. Sucker ain’t coming apart… [02] A bit hard to see, but the blue shows through the cut outs. [32] [09] [43] Cut a slit in the foam to hold the base of the miniature. [13] My son loves it and Symond approve…
