Day 2 playing with 3D Engrave

Had one more piece of flooring left so I decided to try another photo from Italy. This time from Venice.

I did a bit of editing before engraving including changing the gondolas whitish in photoshop before creating the bump map since I wanted them to stand out in the engrave. I also cropped the photo.

Loving the vintage feeling it created.

It’s really cool the way you worked with the bamboo grain to give the piece the look of a special photographic texture filter.
