Maybe it’s too late for my brain…but I can not figure out how to get a deeper engrave in a cutting board. I’m trying to do a river engrave and what I’m picking is just hitting the surface. Looking for answers, or go to bed and wait till morning…which ever comes first.
Increase power, lower speed, run multiple passes, or increase LPI.
Experiment with each to get the results you are looking for.

You can try different setting on scrap wood to get some idea. It may be slightly different on the actual cutting board depending on how hard or soft the wood is, but at least you will have some idea.
