I think I bought the last HD rear projection cathode ray TV made, 65" of it.
Just replaced it with a new LG 4k unit. Tried to sell the old one cheap, no takers. Then advertised it free, no takers.
It was kind of painful because i paid $2500 and it still worked fine. Finally took a drill, saw and hammer to the beast and fed the cabinet to the trash guy in installments.
The freznel and the outer protective screen is all that remains, poised for “fun with solar radiation”.
