Desktop / Bar top Cornhole Game with Burl Finish

I’m pretty excited with my results of a lot of testing and hot days! I’ve developed a great repeatable method to pattern MDF for a wood or pattern look. Loving the burl finish I got with this. :slightly_smiling_face:

I would never have thought that was a lasered pattern on MDF. Absolutely beautiful finish.

I have done lasered patterns, but this is a different method. It just ramps up the look from painted though!

Beautiful job. Can’t go wrong with burl.

Very pretty! I was trying something similar but on regular wood so the real grain interfered with the engraved pattern,

I would never have guessed that wood grain was created.

I have some luck creating simple wood grain patterns with gel stains. But nothing close to what you have done here.
