I ran a print earlier with multiple, individual vector engraves, and where they were besides each other (horizontal) they engraved like they were one.
Was it always this way, or did something change?
I typically engrave from bitmaps but these were simple graphic designs where I’ve not often used vector before, but I’m sure I have, and also sure they were treated like individual bitmaps and engraved one at a time.
Interestingly, I ran another print with the same vector engrave images, but two were spaced further apart, while two others were besides each other. The ones further apart were printed individually, but the ones near each other were printed as is it was one. It looks like the algorithm is taking the head speed into account and deciding which would be faster.
I have see it do that “forever” and arranged my work to take it in. I was very dissapointed that each image is engraved seprately unless you unify them into one image, but of course you cannot move them around after that.
