Before my Glowforge died, I tried shrinking some 1:12 furniture down to 1:48. Did a couple of houses, only photos of one.
Furniture is mostly 1/32”, houses are 1/16th. I won’t be around much anymore, can’t afford to replace Glowforge.
Those are so cute!! No, we don’t want to see you go! At least stay involved so you’ll still be here. Can you afford something less expensive than a GF? There are some good alternatives out there and you could still use your files. I’m thinking I’ll go the WeCreate way when my GF dies (hopefully not for a few more years).
The open back to the doll house is great. Very cute and tiny. Hopefully you can get a replacement.
Very cute, and it’d be sad to see you go.
That door on the dollhouse opens right? Did you make the hinge for that too?
I still play with a dollhouse we have set up for the grandchildren. Always love tiny things.
Hope you’re around for a long time yet!!!
Great job…hopefully you can stick around!!
Quite lovely
Very nice!
I love these! 1:48 is so tiny but these are just lovely. Hope we don’t lose you from the forum and you can get your machine fixed up.
If you put the furniture (and houses) in the catalog and hung about, that might buy you a new Glowforge or at least pay to fix yours. Also folk sell their old ones in here frequently at a lot less than retail.
I’m going to echo the hope that you stick around, even if you go with something other than a in the future. Your work is wonderful, and you are an asset to this community 🩵
Also, Eeeeeeee! Tiny furniture!!!
that’s a great point
I’d love to, but no way. The new upgrades are wonderful but…. This is one of Ivan’s designs; I just shrunk it.
Isnt it great? I love tiny things! Have you seen any of Volker Arnold’s tiny laser stuff? Volker Arnold : Little Dollhouse Company: your source for Doll Houses, Kits and Furniture, https://stewartdollhousecreations.com/ These are 2 sites that carry some - as small as 1:5000!
They aren’t my designs, I just shrunk them.
Thanks!
Thank you!
I love tiny things! Look for Volker Arnold’s laser stuff- as small as 1:5000!
I didn’t know if I’d be welcome without a Glowforge.
You definitely would be! Though I don’t know if the system will let you without an active glowforge account. There’s probably some way to stay in.
