Curiosity got the best of me going for a walk on the beach today. I’ll have to play with some settings, but it did work. Sending out to a friend in the Midwest

I live by the beach and have always wanted to experiment with engraving driftwood. Each piece is so unique, however, it’s hard to experiment without being scared to ruin it 
I secured it to the bed with tape and while it was still a bit damp did the engraving using the draft board setting and it was fine. I have some more to experiment on and I’ll follow up!
