Yes, close inspection shows it is indeed free-hand. Good example of ‘one pointedness’, absolute focus - a form of meditation.

Yeah, I was thinking it looked like background artwork on paper currency, too.

The more I study this piece, the more my mind is blown. It’s just stupefyingly brilliant. The young lady who did this should keep doing this. She must. She just has to be an artist because she IS an artist. Born that way. Really remarkable.
