I’m a miser, so it’s lit with fairy lights, making it portable but not terribly long lasting.
I’ll post files once I fix some alignment issues.

I like that base. Nice use of a living hinge, looks like?
Yup. I’d use them for everything if they didn’t take so long to cut.
It looks freaking awesome.
About how long would you say this took? I don’t do a ton of living hinges beyond some experiments, I can’t remember how bad they were.
Anyway I feel your pain, I did a single sheet cut last night that had 300 parts, it took 50 minutes. Ugh.
It only took 6 minutes or so to cut the living hinge. I’m just whining.
That turned out really nice! I think the living hinge is worth the time.
and having the light shine through will be a great finishing touch.
I did a 73 hour 3D printed marble run as a gift a few years ago. Under an hour? That’s a coffee break.
Very nice.
Looks great.
Like the use of the quarter perspective.
Wonderful piece! It’s such an unusual design. I’m such a sucker for anything edge lit!
