Ends don't meet on rounded shapes

the ends are not meeting on rounded shapes and it doesn’t cut through sporadically but consistent ly. like one file it cut through every line but one. another half didn’t go through. not usually a big miss - about 80% you can see the line it’s just not cut all the way. i am afraid I need to do an alignment and I have previously tried 5 times and never had one get completed. my wifi? internet? who knows?

It looks like you’ve got some drift up above too:

Which machine is this? My first guess is always a manual issue. Dirty belt or debris, or possibly somecracking. If it’s only happening one direction you can focus on that belt. If it’s only happening on curves but not on straight lines in either direction I’d check both thoroughly, but it might bet a motor issue (hopefully not).
Do you see that drift only on large cuts, or do you see drift even on something as small as the Gift of Good Measure?

The lid camera alignment does not improve or affect the machine performance in any way. It simply adjust the camera view of the bed and improves visual alignment.

I think you need to print the Gift of Good Measure and share the result with Glowforge support if the circles are out of round. Did this problematic behavior start suddenly or just show up now and then. Have you recently inspected the carriage plate wheels and the belt tension?

Started abruptly. i justchecked the belt, but I’ll do it again.

that was off, too, but it got better when I cleaed and reattatched the white cable.

GF Pro. on all rounds bigger than .5". will clean the belts. cleaned the surfaces they slide on but not the belts.
