OK, freely admitting that I am a noob here, I wanted to make several of the Founders ruler and could not figure out a way to duplicate or place several of them.
No problem, not obvious! Highlight the whole thing, ctrl+c then ctrl +v, now drag the copy where you want it.
You can ctrl +v several times for several copies.
