My son in law is heading back overseas for work and he wants his Surface keyboard engraved. I have no idea where to start with it. Any help with settings would be greatly appreciated.

The cover material is a synthetic leather suede-type material. It lasers well without requiring much power. I would start by consulting the PDF that I’ve attached, using the vector engrave setting for leather and perform a small test engrave. If the test fails to provides satisfactory results at low power, leave everything alone and run the test again to see if it provides better results.
