Got this axe from a friend and was curious how well the forge would engrave a logo on it, and I think it came out pretty well. Though the clarity isn’t as good and I suspect it has to do with the fine lines and overall size of the engrave, I am still pretty happy with it.
Best part, set it to Macbook preset and let it run 
The glowforge does not have the power to even slightly mark bare metal, so just like a Macbook, that must have some kind of anodization coating.
Exactly, and the results are typically very good, done hip flasks in the past. This was just a fun what is the worst that can happen trial
