I am working on ornaments and I am unable to cut. It is showing the red cut line but it keeps engraving. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I tried making the circle with glowforge instead of inkscape and it showing as red and says cut but then it engraves.

How did you make the circle in Glowforge? Can you share a screenshot showing your design on the interface as well as the settings?

First, you will want the engraving to be done before the cut. On the left side of the interface you can move the cut operation down and the engrave up.
You have a circle for cutting, but your speed is way too fast. You need to click back and then make sure that the Proofgrade setting for your material auto fills. What material is this? What Glowforge do you have?
