Hi everyone! Has anyone had any luck engraving a lazy Susan with a rim? It will fit in terms of width, but I’m not sure how to go about engraving something like this. Hoping to do it as a gift. Any input or suggestions is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
If the rim is deeper than 1/2 inch, you won’t be able to focus the beam correctly.
(You might want to try cutting a stencil and painting the interior. Or glue in a flat engraved circle.)

I’d suggest engraving on veneer and lining the bottom with that - unless you can take it apart and then re-assemble it.
