So I got a bunch of 12mm (tiny) dice to do some custom stuff. When I engraved, I noticed they didn’t have the same results as when engraving acrylic dice, so I’m pretty sure they are plastic.
I read that most plastic dice are made from urea which is laser safe, but I can’t be certain as I got these off alibaba.
Is there a way I can find out what kind of plastic this is? Would the smell being given off be noticeably pungent/chlorinated? It honestly just faintly smelled of typical burnt plastic or rubber, but it was a pretty dull smell… dull enough that I couldn’t even be sure.
