I have a walnut board and was going to do a simple logo in the left corner but forgot that I was going to fill epoxy in the knot after I engraved and filled epoxy in the knot before engraving. I am not engraving anywhere close can I still engrave?

Yeah you’re totally fine. If the laser isn’t hitting the epoxy it doesn’t matter at all.
Oh also, welcome to the forum, I hope you post a pic of the end result

Thanks! I have been engraving with a heat pen for a while now so excited to be using the glowforge to save my fingers! I will post the final pic!
