Error message when trying to upload a file

Hi! I see there’s other questions on here similar to mine but not recently? I upgraded to the pro cut whatever it is thing? Now I’m having so much trouble uploading my .svg files from illustrator? I’m doing them the same as I always have. I also have been trying to open already uploaded designs & it’s still saying “error”? I’ve done as it’s asked me to (turn off & on the printer again & refreshed my browser SO many times!) I’ve also tried switching to chrome from safari & updated my computer & still nothing will open it just keeps saying error? Has anyone else had this happen & found a fix for it? I’ve re saved my file, made sure all the settings were right, even tried saving as “a copy” & Placing the drawing on a new illustrator file & re saving that but nothing is helping! :frowning:
hopefully one of you amazing glowforge friends can throw me some advice? thank you!!!

In every instance I’m aware of it ended up being an issue with the file…you could load it here and someone could see if it loads ok for them - or if you don’t want it out here in the public you can email it directly to support@glowforge.com and they can look at it.

Sadly I’m not familiar with Illustrator so I can’t offer more advice. Possibly the problem/solution here you can look into?

or maybe try copy/pasting instead of using the upload button?

I’m so sorry to hear you hit a sang. We need a bit more information to investigate.

•	Can you please send or post the file you are having trouble with so we can take a look?
•	Information about the browser you are using.
•	A screenshot of the error you are getting.

Please do the following:

1.	Go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
2.	Look for the header that says "Your web browser's unique URL"
3.	Click the button that says "Copy URL to Clipboard"
4.	Reply to this, and paste in the link provided

If possible, could you please send me a screenshot of what you see in the Glowforge app when this happens? Make sure to include the rulers in your screenshot and show as much of the bed as possible

To take a screenshot:
• Mac: Press Shift-Command-4 and click and drag a box around your image. You’ll find the screenshot file saved on your desktop.
• Windows: Click on the Start Menu and type “snipping tool”. Open the Snipping Tool > New then click and drag a box around your image. Click the Save icon and name and save your file.

This will help us understand the circumstances around your error so we can work on it for you.

It’s been a little while since I’ve seen any replies on this thread so I’m going to close it. If you still need help with this please either start a new thread or email support@glowforge.com.
