Every Village needs a Clock!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Spent most of today working on the next building in the Village series. Here is the Clock Tower! Made to hold a bottle of Scotch or Whiskey, but can definitely hold a wine bottle as well.

The secret is the clock…Set the hands to 4:00 (Happy Hour) and the lid comes off. Set it to 1:45 (last call) and the lid locks in place.

14.25" H x 4.75" Square. Took 4 Boards of 1/8" MDF.

I plan on doing a painted version but I needed to make sure the lock would work. Glad I did, had to change a couple of measurements. !

That is pretty amazing. what are you drinking? You could wire in one of those electric trick gum zapper’s into the hands for when the clock is adjusted in the wrong direction.

Clever locking concept. Are there 2 clock faces that both need to be set or did you link the front & back locks via some linkages in the roof?

HAHA, I do not think so. It really is just a simple turn lock. Nothing to outrageous.
