Faux Wood(grain) Updated

I turned the wood grain photo black and white and tweaked the contrast a bit. The design looked like this:

I used a sheet of MDF with a white face so that the unengraved parts would stay white. I didn’t have any draftboard left at the time, but I always have some of that white MDF on hand to make certain products.

thanks! I wonder how painting MDF and engraving would work. also for those who just want to experiment is a place with free download wood images to try without the hassle of photo shooting.
