I am eagerly awaiting my glowforge to arrive and am more or less getting projects ready. But I have a few questions about materials I would like to use. I will admit that I have not been terribly active on this forum and I have done some basic searching for answers to my questions.
I know that the Glowforge can not cut metal, but one thing I was wondering is if it will work for burning off lacquer from copper plate to be used for making PCB’s
In the past, I’ve talked with Epilog about if their lasers can be used to cut ABS plastic and was told by one of their engineer’s that ABS, Delrin and other non chlorine plastics are ok, PVC being a big no no. Was wondering if anyone had an experience with ABS.
