I am trying to load this file on to the glow forge to engrave, but it keeps saying there is an error. Can the file be converted, if so , is there an easy way to do so. thanks

Have you tried exporting it as an svg or saving as a pdf?
Here it is as a picture you can save (left click then click “download”, or right click then click “save as”) then upload to the GF app to engrave:

You need to learn how to use the graphic design app you choose. The glowforge has a limit on how many nodes it can handle, that design is simply past the limit (almost 47,000 nodes). The solution is to use your design app to convert it to
a bitmap.
That’s great you were able to get the source file that can be scaled up as necessary, but basic skills with an appropriate app are necessary unless you are going to simply purchase laser-ready designs from other people.
When you have those skills, the sky is the limit. And you won’t be dependent on other people to use the machine you already invested in. I mean this in a kind way, it really troubles me to see how people spend so much on this crafting tool without ever investing the time to learn how to create their own designs.
