Files over 1 mb won't upload

I have tried several files to upload that are over 1mb and I get an error message that there is a problem uploading. First time support said they had no problem, but I still could not.
On that on I found a work around by decreasing file size to 991 kb. Getting a little confuse. Is this normal?

Hi @jvanduser64
Welcome to the forums.

Large files may be more likely to have network timeouts while uploading, so could be susceptible to iffy wifi.

But often I think the problem is more likely the complexity of the file, more so than the actual size.
i.e., the file has tons of nodes.

If you can share the file, I’m happy to look closer at it (zip it before posting it up here).
Or if you don’t want to share the actual file, but can share a screenshot, just so we have a better sense of what kind of artwork you’re dealing with, that might help folks help you more too.

Good luck!

Thank you. I’m in the process of trying to zip it. Been a long time so it may take me awhile to figure out how. I guess what is confusing to me is that last time I had this issue support had no issue uploading. Looks like my internet but I have no issues with anything else.

Hi @jvanduser64. I’m sorry that you’re having some trouble uploading a design file to print. I saw @jestelle was giving some great advice, and would like to see if you could post the file in this thread, or attach it to an email to send to support@glowforge.com with the ticket reference number 374913.

Also, if you’re seeing this on more than one design, can you include those with any attachments?

I can review that for any issues that can cause any upload fails, and will look forward to your next response. Thank you!
