First go at a Remembrance Urn

Someone at Acadia saw my artwork and contacted me about making a remembrance urn for her husband who had recently passed. She picked out both images as her and her husband used to hike here. I fell in love with her idea, and because of that the project. I learned a lot along the way, and there’s definitely some flaws, but I love how it turned out. I hope it brings her some small amount of joy when she looks at it.

That is incredibly beautiful and very touching. The artwork is superb. The inside looks like cedar…?

Beautiful! I especially like the beach image and how you used the woodgrain to accent the topography. Striking!
