Before I say anything else, I first have to say how thrilled I am with my newfound glowforge superpowers. 
Background - I use a device called a freewrite which is described as a distraction-free writing tool (no ability to edit, mechanical keyboard, e-ink screen). It is a lovely device designed to transport you to flow state as quickly as possible.
The design is great and includes a pull out handle with which to carry the unit. That leads me to the problem solved via glowforge… the case that comes with it, made out of leather and felt, covers up the handle so that you can’t use it while the freewrite is in the case. You see where this is going right?
