Fondant

Well, I couldn’t find a setting to cut fondant effectively, but it engraves well. I sprayed it with gold and silver food coloring spray and then engraved it using thick leather settings.

I wouldn’t have even considered putting this in my forge! It looks fantastic.

That’s what I want to know!

I’m sure it’s like fondant. Ick.

Very cool.

Like fondant, but burnt. Double ick?

Tasted like Fondant - no discernible burnt taste - so still ick!

I’m fascinated by your test! A few years back, when I’d ordered but hadn’t received my 'forge, I thought of cutting fondant. I figured it’d work! I’m a little surprised you couldn’t find a setting to cut it. But I imagine fondant could be too damn mushy and melty to cut well. Very cool you got it to engrave though! Thanks for sharing!

Also…
Fondant: It’s just like frosting… except it’s an unnatural texture and it doesn’t taste good at all.
