Forever Scanning Mode then forever in Cooling Down mode

I’ve cleaned everything, including the lid connections, turned it on and off several times, logged in and out several times. Is something else going on?

If it does cut after scanning forever, most of the cuts aren’t going all the way through. Then it’s in “cooling down” forever. I haven’t used it much today and it’s not warm here so it can’t be overheated.

Check both ends of the ribbon that connects to the print head and make sure they are secure.

As soon as I wrote the note, it started working better! Thanks
