Free software to open STL files and save out pieces as SVG?

I just tested it, and it does not work on imported .STLs though. I was testing this on a regular body created in Fusion 360.

Mesh bodies Fusion isn’t so good with. So Fusion 360 Slicer may still be your best option for .STL files

Not sure how many caught that sweet TInkerCad reference from @dwardio but wow! It has a sweet export to svg function that worked like a champ for me today. Shout out!
