I saw this on a youtube video many months ago and I’ve been wanting to create this for quite a while but could never find the time. Finally had free time this weekend and finished it up. The cartridges actually slide in and out of the gameboy.

This takes me back. When my kids went off to school, I would play Boxxle on their Game Boy. Looks nice in wood.

Neat retro project! If you use it a lot, be aware that Draftboard will pick up finger oils and darken in color. You may want to apply a matte sealer.

@cynd11 that one was just a prototype I did. I did notice the stains showing up. I brought it to work to show people and they can’t keep their hands off it. I plan on the final version being done in maple for more definition.

Turned out really well. Think that is one system we skipped in our house. There wasn’t a shortage of them by any means though.
