I decided to try my hand at the elf/fairy door. I drew the plans up in CorelDraw. It was painted with Rustoleum Flat White and then rubbed down with walnut stain. I let it dry a few minutes and then used a walnut stain touchup pen to mark the score lines and draw marks along the grain. While it was still moist I wiped the stain in the direction of the grain to simulate the varying colors of wood. The hinges were cut from tongue depressors and painted with black hammer finish Rustoleum. The window is blue glass stain from Dollar General applied sparingly with a Q-tip.
After I clean up my file, I will share it with you all.
