Getting Design all on the board at once

I’m working on making GF Baby first Christmas ornament. It is 2 parts. Is there some way to get them both together? I want to overlay the top to make sure I’m not entering my lettering to low.

You cannot open both parts of the design in the same window, but you can get the exact size by clicking on the ruler in the bottom left corner.

Thank you. Not sure why they made this like that. Other designs I can push the parts off to the side that I’m saving for a different wood but still be able to layer them to make sure I have things centered.

Do you mean you have it saved as 2 sep. files?
If so, you can load both on same page. Click on the plus sign on the top of dashboard and then upload what else you want on there.
If you want it on your screen, but don’t want it to cut, click it to ignore on the cut/score feature on the left

It’s a catalog design.

They do that because the separate parts are usually different materials. Generally there is example script as part of the design, if you’ve deleted that you can hit the 3 dot menu, and then design details and reset and it’ll come back.

Have you tried opening each sheet in a separate browser window and then copy/pasting parts from one window to the other one?

This is actually a GF file. When you add it to the screen it has a 1 of 2 and a 2 of 2 that you have to chose from. It does not let you put both on them on the screen at the same time. When I buy files from etsy yes I am able to add whatever I need. This being a GF file I don’t understand why I can’t put them both on their together for layering purposed so I can make sure I’m not covering up my engraving. It’s the Babys First Christmas with birth announcement information. 2 layers
