Hello- No matter what I choose, even if I select “create a new design,” and the click the + where you can select a premade pic from GF themselves, I get “design failed to load.” I have cleared all caches and cookies, shut down and restarted my computer. Still doing the same thing.

I am experiencing the same thing on my Windows 11 Desktop computer, but my husband is having no problems from his Windows 10 laptop.
Hmmm….
Our Wi-Fi network broadcasts in both 5g and 2.4g. I did switch back to 2.4g for my computer connection (not that it matters except for the GF connection) and nothing is correcting the problem!
Try using a different browser.
