I was so excited to see how fast me order shipped. Then we took it out of the box and there is a big crack and plastic chip out of the corner of the casing. The casing material looks so thick it must have been dropped from a height or something. I so wanted to work with the thing this weekend. How does this sort of thing get resolved?
What doesn’t suck though is you started the ball rolling. New threads in problems and support auto-generate a Support ticket.
You won’t get to play this weekend, but they’ll get ya taken care of nice and quick.
By posting the message here you’ve notified them of the issue. Having had a unit replaced myself I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re up and running by next weekend. Hope you are!
If there is no internal damage and I was desperate to use it I would put some foil tape over to stop any laser light getting out and give it a go.
