My glowforge is stuck on centering. I’ve done all the things people have said may help… cleaning the machine, turning everything on and off, logging off all devices and restarting the router, moving the head to the center of the bed while the lid is open, and checking the 5 connection points on the lid
I have yet to see a definitive solution to this problem on the forum.

I got hit by this for the first time the other day. What finally worked was turning it off, opening the lid, turning it back on (with the lid still open) and going upstairs to get a cup of coffee.
Seems like sometimes when there’s a software update it doesn’t finish downloading before the machine starts trying to do its startup stuff, and things get snarled up in there and it gets stuck. Opening the lid keeps it from going into its startup routine and gives the software time to finish updating.
It may also have been total coincidence, but it can’t hurt to try. Especially the coffee.
