I need a file to remain un-grouped so I can print one piece of the file. Why is my Glowforge grouping it? 
Please help. the project is for a client. I’ve even attempted to upload the split file, no luck. Because it won’t upload the file!
Try making the parts you want separate distinctly different colors in your design program before uploading.

Different colours definitely, and if you put a box around each distinct one they won’t group together - you’ll need to set the box to ignore in the GFUI
