Please forgive my ignorance on this issue. If I am venting the Glowforge exhaust out a window, does the Glowforge Filter Cartridge still need replacement after a couple of hundred hours of cutting (mostly birchwood and cardboard)? I’ve reviewed the forum postings and can’t quite figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The filter is a separate box that sits on the floor and your hose goes into it. If you’re venting out the window you’re not using the filter

Thank you so much! I thought the filter was something built-in. Thank you again!

No need. Ignorance is a hole we are all climbing out of. You are in the right place for answers!upside_down_face:
Since the filter is a con$umable you are saving a lot by venting out the window.
