You can indeed reduce the power output of your Glowforge below 100%. The details of that are one of the things we’re keeping close to our chest for competitive reasons - I’ll just say that it’s being worked on, so don’t take any current performance as final.

Thanks, @dan. That’s good news. Sadly, the manufacturer declined to send me a sample plate, so I guess I’ll have to wait to find out how @tim fares with his samples.
