I have been making quite a few things lately but now my glowforge seems to be stuck in homing mode
Not sure if you already have, but try cleaning the camera lens. It’s used for homing. Also make sure the top of the head is clean (the Glowforge logo on the lid of the head housing).

And make sure that you do not have bright lights that could confuse it. Turn off, push gantry back all the way and the head all the way to the left. then try again.

I’m so sorry to hear that you ran into trouble.
One reason the centering may be taking a long time is that the materials in the bed are creating images that cannot be processed correctly.
Can you try removing all the material from the crumb tray, trying again, and let us know if you’re still having trouble?
