Glowforge not powering on?

It’s fully on. Power cord is fully seated. Switch out the power cord, tried a different outlet on a different circuit.

Send that video to support. (And quit trying to turn it on…damn, too slow typing… @karaelena beat me to it.)

I’ve seen some power cords that don’t fully sit well in sockets to touch the prongs (on the Glowforge power connector, not the wall socket), sometimes you really need to push them in.

But if you’re using the one Glowforge shipped it with, and it’s in as firm as it will go… wait for Support.

Unfortunately, we need to replace your unit. We’ll email you shortly to make arrangements – it’s our goal to have you printing on a new unit very quickly!

Sorry man, feel your pain. UPS messed up two in shipping for me.

Oh yeah… can I mention watching the UPS guy manhandle the box like… a lot? Me and my friend visibly cringed when he dropped it onto his rolling cart. I took photos of the box, but there were no severe punctures or rips. and the machine seemed pretty okay in the box.
