Lid continue to say lid open while the lid is closed!!! I have so many orders ! It’s always something with this thing! 
There are so many topics on this with great options to resolve it. Information is right there and so “so many things wrong with this machine” might be a factor of drive?
Have you checked the continuity on the black lid cable? Have you follow the guide steps on resetting the print head? If so, what result are you getting at step 6?
Yes unfortunately I’ve tried all that I do believe the problem is bigger than that. This looks like it came apart
