Anyone else encountering this issue? Its fine if I use a design from the clipart section, but if I import into the browser, I just get stuck on preparing, cancel after cancel.

No, I have not encountered this problem. What happens if you drag the file and drop it onto the interface rather than clicking the upload button? Have you tried using a different browser?

Welcome to the community. What program are you using to create your .svgs? It’s likely something in the export settings is incomplete so the 
doesn’t know how to translate it.

I just had this problem yesterday! When it shows the little preparing box it also has a link to “learn more” and it will give troubleshooting suggestions. My issue was my Internet browser wasn’t updated and once I got it to the latest version that helped.
