I am having so many problems with my Glowforge today. It is stuck on Preparing Your Print for over 30 minutes. I have cleared my cache and restarted my computer and restarted the glowforge and still nothing.

There was a system wide problem earlier today, but I think it was resolved. Could you try opening and processing a different file - I suggest the Gift of Good Measure?

Yes, that worked but it did not cut all the way through. It doesn’t sound like it is powering all the way on and it will not process a new design. I reprinted a design and it printed but it was very smokey. I am really not sure what is going on with it.
Print the Gift of Good Measure on typing paper using thge Proofgrade settings for 20# copy paper. Share the results here so we can help you figure out what is going wrong.

The outside cut on this look pretty clean and the engrave looks acceptable.The two small circles are a bit off (1/8 and5mm) in that the cut line is not centered in the score line.
Was it smokey as you said your last project was? As for powering on, I believe the laser either fires or it doesn’t. The different sounds are from the various fans. Have you cleaned the exhaust fan and air assist fans lately?
