Glowforge use and Room Temp?

Not a problem per say, but my GF is in the garage and we are having a cold spell. My thermometer says it is low 40’s but when I just turned it on it said it was too cold. I shut it off but was hoping to use it today? Will it warm up enough if I move it into the house where it is more controlled to use it later? I don’t want to damage it but was really hoping to finally work on some things. I used it the other day when it was in that temp range but not sure it got that cold during the night!

Thanks for any help!

It will take some time to warm up, and you need to ensure condensation doesn’t form on the electronics inside. Circulating air with lid open will help.

Recommended Operating Temperature: 60F-75F (16C-24C) Basic and Plus; 60F-81F (16C-27C) Pro

(it’s in the owners manual as well.)

Thank You! I tried to do a search but wasn’t finding the specs.

It’s on page 9 of the owners manual.

It also cautions against exposing the machine to temperatures below 40º F.

Thanks for the answer @eflyguy, that’s right. I’m going to close this thread - if you run into any trouble, go ahead and post a new topic. Thanks for letting us know about this!
