I use Loctite gel CA with a longer set time. It seems to stay in place rather well and it allows me to do longer setups. The gel also seems to be easier to adhere to a smaller surface. Sometimes I use a toothpick an transfer, most of the time it is precise enough to go on the surface of a tab or slot.

This stuff has a really nice, thin tip and I can control the flow well. The glue is one of my favorites too.

Straight up yellow titebond works for me on most things but haven’t tried it on PG.
