Can Glowforge engrave on handmade soap? It is made out of vegetable based oils saponified with lye.
Searching “engrave soap” will get you some results.
As for the safety of your specific soap I certainly don’t have any direct advice.
First off you would have a smoky melted mess, in addition any hydroxide found or reconstituted would not be kind to machine or beast.
Very much better I think would be to deep engrave parts for a soap press, and let the soap be the secondary design rather than trying to laser soap directly.
