The kids are all finally out of school and gainfully employed, with a daughter getting married this year. I’m planning to focus on reduction, clearing out clutter and streamlining. Living in a big house for 12 years we’ve managed to squirrel things away in every nook and cranny!
My wife is 5 years on her new left hip and 1 year on her new right one. She said it was the best thing she ever did. But it hasn’t stopped her from teaching fitness classes 4 days a week (what exacerbated the need for the new ones).
I am looking forward to new knees for each of us new hip for me, and affordable housing somewhere as this was supposed to be temporary while looking for other housing.
I “retired” at 22 as I could make my own money as needed and take the rest of my time off. I am glad I did that as I no longer have a body capable of those things, and computer drafting had yet to be invented. Recently I came across a quote from Gabriel G Marquez “No matter what, nobody can take away the dances you’ve already had” very much how I think with my addition that without focus and embracing them you could lose them yourself.
That is what nooks and crannies are for!
Yay!! Welcome back (early)!
The above is a collab for you

So still 2 more times to go?
Happy New Year everyone! I’m just looking forward to spending more time out on the lake this summer and enjoying every day with my husband.
