Hardware Mounting with Rivet Nuts

To mount other parts (like PCBs) to my models, I install a rivet nut with standoffs. A nice tool is available to use with your cordless drill. Takes some practice, and works best with 1/8" to 1/4" acrylic.

You can also thread/tap acrylic directly, depending how much clamping force you need.
