My laser won’t cut through things. I have had my glowforge for 1 week and am still using proofgrade materials. I selected the correct material and it just ruined my medium draftboard w/very thick almost catch on fire type of lines. I tried seeing if the lenses needed cleaning, but nope and it’s only been a week so how bad could they be? Has anyone faced this before? Kinda wish I could get a refund at this point if it’s breaking down 1 week in.
Have you cleaned your GF recently? Almost sounds like your laser lens is upside down?
Are you sure you are cutting as opposed to engraving lines. Cut lines are always very, very thin. Engraves can be wide, but should not be used to cut through materials.
A photo of what you are talking about would help out greatly. Welcome to the forum btw.
DUDE! thank you! I started searching on laser lens and I didn’t realize there was another internal one so cleaned it and it’s fixed. thank you thank you thank you!
I am glad it was something simple!
