Your best bet is to contact the seller of the file and ask for assistance. I suspect that the terms of your purchase do not allow you to share the file with anyone.

FWIW, many sellers include a 1-inch (or some other standard square) in the design so you can make sure it’s cutting the right size. While you wait to hear back, you might look for that.

Unless this svg somehow is a mechanical thing the pattern can be scaled into a cross of any size presumably (I’m assuming this is artistic) so as long as the scaling is uniform it could fit any cross right?

Okay Thank you

Okay Thank’s

If the scaling is off, any slots that involve the thickness of the material would also be off.

Oh is this a cross shape box? I thought the svg artwork is an inlay bound by the cross outline (i.e. a compound path in Illustrator)

Hmmm. It says a “stand.” I thought it was a cross upright on a stand.

Ah probably like this? I mean SVG does have units and size so should be kept in scale, but even simpler would be print the cross part (if it is an unbound one like this) and then measure the size and scale the slot accordingly?

I think “simpler” might be relative.

SVGs do not always import at the correct size. I use PDFs for this reason. Anyway, the width of the slot should remain correct, but adjusting for the thickness of the material, especially when compensating for kerf is overwhelming for many laser owners.

I find the kerf compensation is overblown for things like this (assuming the hole is large enough) if you use a gel CA glue (or titebond) since that will fill tiny gaps. Acrylic which is welded is a whole separate problem but basic MDF clad in vernier works well with glue filling the gap
